General Details for Borders Perimeter Security
Border perimeter security provides a comprehensive, multi-layered defense system designed to protect national boundaries from unauthorized crossings, infiltration, smuggling, and hostile activities. It combines high-security fencing, reinforced barriers, anti-climb and anti-dig protection with advanced fiber-optic–based Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS) that enable real-time, long-range, and high-accuracy detection of intrusion attempts, cutting, climbing, tampering, and ground disturbances while minimizing false alarms. The system is further strengthened through intelligent surveillance solutions, integrated monitoring sensors, secure control checkpoints, and centralized command-and-control platforms, ensuring continuous border monitoring, rapid threat response, improved situational awareness, and compliance with national defense and security regulations.
FR-302
Securing BORDERS

The FR302 Border Security System provides long-range intrusion detection (up to 80 km per controller) with precise location accuracy of ±5 meters. Based on fiber-optic Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) with AI-based classification, the system secures borders by monitoring both fence lines and buried perimeters, ensuring early detection and accurate identification of intrusion threats across vast and remote terrains.
Smart Fence Installation
A single-mode fiber-optic sensing cable is installed directly on the border fence. Each disturbance is analyzed in real time by the FR302 controller, generating a classified alarm with pinpoint intrusion location. This enables rapid assessment and immediate response by border security forces.
The system detects:
- Fence climbing
- Fence cutting
- Fence lifting or tampering
Smart Buried Perimeter Installation
A fiber-optic cable is buried underground along the border line at a typical depth of 0.3 m to 1.5 m. The buried perimeter provides invisible, tamper-proof protection even in open or unfenced areas.
The system detects:
- Human footsteps (walking or running)
- Manual digging
- Machine digging
- Tunneling
- Vehicle and heavy equipment movement
AI-Based Threat Classification
The FR302 not only detects intrusions — it classifies the threat type using advanced artificial intelligence:
- Human footsteps
- Manual digging
- Machine digging
- Tunneling activity
- Fence climbing
- Fence cutting
- Engines and heavy machinery
- Vehicles
- Trains
This classification capability ensures a high probability of detection with very low nuisance alarms, even in harsh border environments.
